What procedure did you have done?

I had a total knee replacement on my right knee in July and my left knee in December.

How did you know it was time for your joint replacement?

I wish I had done it sooner. I couldn’t walk or move without pain. My activities were limited. Anything that required walking more than a few yards was impossible.

How has having your hip/knee replacement changed your life?

I walked 2 miles on the beach. I can take my grandkids to the zoo. I can walk through a store or mall just to see what is there. I truly feel 20 years younger!

Would you recommend Dr. Hodrick to your friends and family?

I would and I do. He is wonderful. He did a great job and listened and answered all my questions. He is very easy to get in touch with for questions and even personally called to see how I was doing.

Would you do anything differently?

No I am very happy with my decisions.

Was there anything special about Dr. Hodrick, SJRI or St. Thomas hospital that you would like to share?

EVERYONE was very nice. I never had to wait more than 10 minuted when I had an appointment. This was truly a life changing experience.
